Blog Updates 10 Jun 2008

HI sorry I haven't blogged for a while my lifes been manic just lately with work... still if what we're doing comes off well it'll make the most excellent 3 months for a new company start up... I'll talk about it soon i promise just its a comercial secret at the moment. I will have a rant tho while i'm here... its with Powergen - their advert says you can sign up to greener electricity. Now how exactly to they provide the exact power you use from the wind farms etc???? Now unless i'm stupid which I know i'm not the power for the uk goes into something called the national grid therefore the power you receive comes from a pool of power so if you have green power does it come through a different colour :-) no so is this bullshit to get people to switch to them in the hope the green eco friendly angle will get you to change. Am I the only person who has noticed this crap or are there others out there? BTW i shall be on holiday soon "rock tapping" or fossil collecting as its usually known so i should have some pics from that soon too. Also work is still continuing on the beastwars picture and the rock lord pics so i should have an update of those when i get back too.

Blog Updates 12 May 2008

Just a quick update, having been to a another football match I was reminded why I really do hate some football supporters, they truely are sub human scum. who am I talking about - Birmingham City supporters, why after blackburn had been thrashed they felt the need to not only pitch invade (and stop the team doing a parade lap as thanks for the seasons support spoiling it for the 24k people in there) they also had to be abusive and try and start a fight with everyone else. The board got the full force of the abuse as well - its not the boards fault if the players don't deliver and contray to what supporters must think, they don't have unlimmited funds to throw at the club if they did they wouldn't be good business people. So put simply the supporters need to grow up stop teaching their children the appauling habbits they have and remember its called the beautiful game and it is a game - a spectical for enjoyment not 2hrs of time for venting anger at other human beings.

I promised an update once I had been to the collectors fair so here I am. Although the fair was a toy and train collectors affair it wasn't to bad for finding the stuff i collect although it did take a bit of hunting amung the 650 stalls that were there. I managed to pick up Transformers G1 Red Alert in not to bad condition for the price (£4.50), G2 Mint carded Sea Spray (£4.50) (bargin), Beast Wars Spittor (£1), Masters of the Universe Rattlor (£1), Action Force SAS VAMP (£1), Masters of the Universe book (£1), a Keeper for Caz (£4.50), INT-4 Star Wars mini Rig (£4.50) ,I was hard celled into buying Machine Wars Optimus Prime (£20)(not so much of a bargin). I'll update with photos soon. Also last week I recieved something I had been waiting a year for after pre-ordering it I got my WST (Worlds Smallest Transformers)(scale replicas of the original transformers but roughly a quarter of the size) Dinobot Sludge - which I have to say is excellent if not very cute :-) and was definitly well worth the wait.

hello again I thought i'd best update you as to what ive been upto lately... well, i've decided to start a new picture for the transformers convention (Auto Assembly) the frenzy one was starting to annoy me and I just wasn't getting anywhere with it so now i've started a new pic it was originally going to be Dino Riders - Transformers crossover, but I've changed direction and now its a beastwars inspired image but with the dinobots and cassette transformers oh and trypticon - you can see how its going by looking in my art section. I'll be going to a collectors fair in a week so i'll provide some updates from that too :-)

Why the ipod is shit. I really need to vent my anger here, having wasted an hour of my life fixing an ipod and trying to transfer music to it I have to say i'm not impressed. First what can't i just drag music on to the flaming device like you can with every other mp3 player? Well you can and I did but it ended up making the player need to be factory reset and resynced so thats crap, who wants to f**k about with Itunes to add the music copy it over etc etc.. Plus why do I have to use itunes to manage my music anyway? Second why is the itunes software so shit it doesn't detect the ipod connected to it without restarting the PC itself and then reconnecting it???? I'm pretty sure that wasted 10mins of the hour trying to get it to see and use the ipod as apposed to it being a usb drive. In short the interface maybe nice and everything but its so tied down to proprietary software and doing it a set way that it makes me want to fight the system and not ever again use one

Blog Updates 24 Mar 2008

Well its been a VERY busy Easter weekend, I've been out for a meal at the Nags Head which was very nice in malvern. I had one of the specials - Chicken stuffed with herbs, wrapped in bacon covered in a port sauce yum :-). Anyway I attended Velvet Revolver on the saturday and as expected they were fantastic tho unfortunetly fate would have it that my attendance was cut short by my girlfriend passing out - I think it was probably due to Slashes amazing solos but who knows but having spent time with the St Johns Ambulance crew we decided to come home. I did however get some video of them from the time that i was there so not all was lost. And on the sunday I had to cook for a family meal which turned out well - I always get nervous when cooking for people I don't know why really guess its just stressful getting everything ready for the same time. This coming week should be exciting we've got a load of business meetings booked lets just hope they turn into customers.

Blog Updates 20 Mar 2008

Well I survived going to the Blues on monday, tho I was petrified for 2 hours by vertigo on the stands. I'm sure i looked very grumpy too because I didn't move when they scored or anything but it was simply out of fear that I dared not to stand up.. While the match wasn't great the people watching was amusing, one particular man commented on every Refs whistle blow for instance "Foul throw" I'm thinking I can tell that cos i'm watching and the ref blew the whistle when he threw the ball, and of course every decision in newcastles favour or the ref deeming play on, was wrong and every decision in blues favour was right... There always has to be someone making a scene and it was a fan not sure blues or what, but he got on to the pitch danced around for 3 seconds before being subdued by police and stewards and carried off.. I really can't see people get so passionate about the game after all its just a game - I could understand if they had invested in the club shares etc but I suppose people don't want to be associated with loosers.. Its Velvet Revolver on saturday thank god :-)

Blog Updates 16 Mar 2008

Well the first unpleasent task for this month has been and gone namely WESTLIFE... As expected it was contrived crap aimed squarely at fortifying their place as sex object for their screaming stupid fans.. The most ridiculous thing was their "unplugged section" where they attempted to "play" instruments, the gay looking blonde one kian was playing a guitar which was all well and good but what he was playing had nothing to do with the the song that they were singing - no one seemed to notice tho... Nicky managed to play 2 drum sticks, when I say play i mean he managed to hit them together with some ability tho the crowd couldn't hear what he was playing. Monday I must go to the Birmingham game and mix with the yobs at a football match all because my other half has an obsession with michael owen oh hum i'm sure it will be amazing

My dream updates 19 May 2008

last night I had a series of odd dreams (nothing new there then) first off I had a dream about an intense thunder storm, my girlfriend and I were sheltering in our home when .the tree in our garden was struck by lightning. This, as you can imagine, scared her immensely and caused her to blub like a jibbering idiot. Next my dream involved the guitar legend that is Slash. I, with my incredible powers of I.T. , was fixing all his computer woes. His particular trouble was finding a way for the mouse cursor to display terrain height on a google map. Naturally I told him how to do this.

My weirdest dream this week, was sitting an exam on php programming with RichG which was multichoice (which would be odd for an exam on programming anyway) but my (our) dylexia had got considerably worse to the point i could barely read it was soooooo frustrating but the examiner was my old boss hazel who showed no sympathy what-so-ever :-(.

My dream updates 05 May 2008

A few dream updates for you here, first I had a dream about managing a youth football team but the rules had changed and the manager had to play too which was very odd indeed - the match took place and what i can only describe as a bowling club I din't know if we won or lost. Next I had a dream about being in a new Star Trek Next Generation film it was set in present day manchester (dunno how you would get there from the 24th century) I was playing Data and we had such useful things as jet packs and at one point we were stood on top of a train moving through the countryside which was all very odd.

My dream updates 29 Apr 2008

I haven't posted for a while I know but last night I had dreams I could actually remember, so here we go.. First off I was dreaming about being a Royal Air Force special operator on a mission to recover some hostages with a team.. We were in Iran I believe anyway we found the hostages on a construction site but then while we were exfiltrating we came under fire from an elevated highway by tanks and trucks, we engaged them with javalin anti tank missiles (which i'm sure if you've played Call Of Duty 4 you will know) and then I woke up so I don't really know how that went. Next I had a dream relating to predator and it hunting a group of us. Its weird tho because instead of the normal ability to bend light to hide itself it had the ability to shape shift to look like people which also included mass change as well as at one point it climbed through a small window looking like an old woman.

My dream updates 03 Apr 2008

normal dreams, ha you must be joking! last night I had 2 dreams the first was that our offices had moved next door to where I used to work and that they came round knocking on the door to see if I could fix a computer that had stopped working as I used to be their network manager - for some strange reason I agreed and found it was a windows 98 machine but that it had in fact still got the QMS system I built on it. (QMS - Quality Management System). Then my dream switched to the present company that I work for changing what they do from loans to running steak houses, and that they were teaching their staff how to cook steaks but weirdly to go with the steaks it wasn't your usual mushrooms and chips it was roast chicken, roast pots, yorkshire pudding, and asparagus. While this meal appeals to me I don't think it would be practical in real life :-(. Anyway for some reason I was fantastic at cooking all this stuff and so the training came easy to me.

My dream updates 31 Mar 2008

Well I have gone back to having weird dreams again, the night before last was obviously influenced by Rush Hour 3 as it involved chinese ninja women and drive by shootings - the oddest bit perhaps of the whole combat in the dream was when I was attempting to shoot one of the ninja ladies and the bullets from my hand gun were infact turning to water as squirted from a water pistol nedless to say they were very ineffective. And last nights dream was strange as I was back at school but aged as I am now, but some of the twats from my year were still there having been held back. I can remember the panic of not remembering which classes I had on and not knowing where to go. And to make things worse the scum were taking the piss out of me and saying things about people I work with. Oh well at least it was only a dream :-)

For once I didn't have a massively weird dreams, the first was that I was going to a gig at the academy in Birmingham who was playing I hear you ask... Well Foo Fighters were headlining with Green Day supporting, sounds like an amazing gig I know and well it was but strangely it was almost a private gig there were very few people there.. The parking was even stranger we had to park in a park and walk across it to get to the venue - which is completely different to reality. The second dream was reguarding fire extinguishers and which would be most suitable for my house - I didn't come to any conclusion about them tho as my sleep was disturbed by a txt message.

My dream updates 28 Mar 2008

As per usual my dreams were very strange last night. The first dream I had was that my mates Ian and Vicki had bought a house with a celler and they were giving me a tour there wasn't a proper light in the celler so we were walking around via the light from mobile phones. Anyway it turned out that the house itself used to be a prison and that there were noose all over the celler where the condemed had been punished, so that was very creepy and that then they needed help with the walls because the wall was leeching out deposits..... Anyway I woke up from that dream suddenly only to go back to 2 more weird ones. First was my mate Kyle drunk and having fallen in the Docks so we were going round to try and help him only for him to climb out by his own hand, which for some reason really pissed me off so I punched him and he fell back in :-). Second was someone we build a website for here at work by the name of Andy for some reason we were fixing his computer at home and we found documents confirming he was a Gay porn junky.. Basically illuding to him liking filipino boys he'd got stuff sent to filipino boy lover, fag av. the philippines lol.... but stranger than that while we were there he got evicted from his house and so did his tenants... All very strange :-)

Things just get weirder and weirder.... last night I dreamt that there was an alien invasion of earth by an insect race, they had the ability to copy and pose as humans and were slowly taking over the governments of the world along with giving a sustained assault against the human race having taken on giant forms of eath bound insects (its a scary sight a giant wasp coming at you). I got woken up before the dream had finished but I awoke just as the insects posing as humans had been found out and we the humans were fighting back

4 days worth of dreams in 1 post. Ok Friday night first part of the dream was my attempt to fix a tank by welding railings on to the front of it to fix the armour which may seem silly but actually it is done in iraq currently to stop RPGs hitting the main skin of the tank/APC. The second dream I had that night involved Doug being at my school and a fun run unfortunetly the details of that are sketchy in my mind now... Now on Saturday my dreams were quite weird again it started with a charity penalty competition to find local businesses for Essential Systems which is a weird one for sure.. then that was followed by me becoming some sort of paranormal powered investigator - my job was to find out how people died and then change how it happened I think that might have ben caused by the advert for pushing daises on ITV. Now on Sunday I had a very strange dream where I was at primary school and we had to do a run from worcester to malvern and then gain access to the cinema because we didn't want to pay - this involved crawling through the sewers then into the air con duct then drop down into the cinema itself - I know its expensive but thats one hell of a way to try and avoid paying for something even Mr Stone the amazing teacher was involved tut tut.. now and finally last night I had a dream about having a student job welding things back together in a server room. Including me for some unknown reason cutting the top of a tin of beans then getting another tin cutting the top of that and attempting to slide one can into another which kinda worked but caused a great deal of mess :-)

Thank god i didn't have another terminator dream, last night sent me 13 years into the past to a fictional rugby match I was playing at school.. How do I know it was fictional well... A. it was sport and B. I didn't socialise with half of those people. Anyway the game was 3 a side there was me Gaz and Kyle against Pete Talbot, Ben Smith and a Smith gypo that I don't know the name off. Weirdly it was taking place on the school field after visiting the Velvet Revolver gig on a school trip, we snuck out of an assembly to go play on the school field. There wasn't that much of a match really before the bell sounded to go back to lessons.

Terminator II, not another terminator dream - I don't know whats wrong with me. Last night the terminator had invaded work and was systematically killing staff - much like the T2000 in terminator II it could shape shift but instead of changing into different people it could turn into office objects such as phones etc... it would be quite easy to kill someone of you wre a phone as they hold you up to their head... Anyway eventually it was killed by decapitation but not after a long fight... Anyway what does this mean?? I'm not eating cheese late at night or anything!

My dream updates 18 Mar 2008

Last night I had my usual strange dreams the first of which my partner bought 5 laptops and gave them to her family and one to me which was nice - I think this was inspired by my desire to upgrade my PC at home at the moment, or just get an ASUS EEE laptop.. This was then followed by a dream where my partner and I were attempting to navigate around an estate somewhere and we eventually got out the car walked into someones back garden where we found their pet otters which i then proceeded to make a fuss off. Dunno what inspired this one well the otter bit anyway the driving about could have been the drive I had to birmingham city earlier in the evening. And finally and possibly most disturbing was the terminator dream I had where skynet had started to take humans and change them into cyborgs. I was being chased by them in my parents house and around their garden at one point being strangled by one of them. We discovered that we could destroy them by smashing the matrix chip in their skull just under the skin. I know where the matrix chip came from thats universal soldier II but why I was having a terminator dream I don't know!

New TV viewing 19 May 2008

well what a week of TV watching i have had. First I watched the channel 4 documentry about the mummified dinosaur which was amazing and the information they gained was so important about colours and musculature, how they moved and how fast - who'd have thought they could run at 30 mph!! Over the weekend I watched Wild Hogs which although I was apprehensive at first was actually very funny and well worth watching if you get chance. I should listen to my fantastic girlf more often apparently. And tonight I was horrified to tune into Eastenders only to see Minty become the most desperate man in England when he decided it would be a good idea to kiss Heather Trott - it was a truely sickening sight which must have been caused by the copious amounts of cheese consumed prior, my eyes shut instantly and I uttered the words "don't do it minty i'll hate you forever" but he still did... The man on the TV then told me to open my eyes (there must be a web cam in the house somewhere) unless he was similary sickened by it which I wouldn't find it hard to believe and I was safe with the credits

New TV viewing 05 May 2008

Just a quick update about a Mythbusters I watched - they were making an American Civil War era steam powered machine gun which was really cool they proved it would have worked as well. basically it consisted of steam boilers creating loads of steam pressure then the steam being released and the bullet dropped into a spinning tube going at (2000rpm) where the centrifugal force threw the round out with enough force to kill a person and travel out to 700 meters. it was way cool. And also on a side note I watched 10,000 BC and although it looked crap at the cinema actually it turned out to be a good film and well worth watching I highly advise it :-)

New TV viewing 24 Apr 2008

I know i've been a bit lazy with updates lately but I haven't really watched any TV of note... But last night I got to watch the always excellent Traffic Cops, whihc seemed to be a motorbike special really. It amused me to see the gentleman on his bike hit in the face by a pheasent at 60mph it was a mess thats for sure his face looked like he'd gone 10 rounds with kahn his face all exploded. Oh well one less biker on the road :-). Also there was the complete tosser in his range rover over taking on double hatched lines, he was let off but i was happy to see he was later sent to prison for something worse... Sunday I watched the Mythbusters 007 special which unfortunetly I have a few gripes about first was the exploding pen myth they made a grenade pen out of a normal ball point packed with some "nasty" explosives, in the film where he uses it and blows up the bad girl it just simply kills her but they wanted the effect that Q had in the lab blowing the dummy in half - they managed to blow a melon sized hole in the torso which would be more than enough but no they had to be stupid and up size the pen to being a foot long so that it would blow it in half which was way to excessive. And the other thing I had a problem with was them trying to blow a gas cylinder up with one shoot, they couldn't manage to pirece the skin of the tank with a 9mm pistol and then they stepped it up to higher calibers only causing detonation with a minigun shooting 6000 rounds a minute, but surely Bond would have a AP explosive tipped round which would pierce the tank easily and detonate but of course they don't have access to those so they busted it without fully exploring it. Finally on just a side note I watched a future weapons where they had a gun called the beowulf which is a .50 cal assult rife upgrade for the M4 it up powers it to shoot through brick cars or whatever you put in front of it... You can check it out here http://www.alexanderarms.com/beowulf.htm

New TV viewing 12 Apr 2008

Well its saturday so i've managed to watch some tv. I watched a few episodes of the A team series 2 and it struck me their budget can't have been massive as they reused props a hell of a lot for instance the helicopter they flew in in south africa found its way to LA to be used by the criminals in the next episode - poor show if u ask me. Then i watched dr who which although good wasn't up to its normal standards and def wasn't well thought out at the end they climbed into into a lava bubble and sealed in, then were blasted from a volcano and not damaged in the slightest by the landing tut tut, i want realism here. Finally i watched pushing daisies which wasn't bad but you could tell by the style and music it was written by the same people that do desperate house wives - still it had miss friel in it which always makes things better!

New TV viewing 07 Apr 2008

Ok I have watched possibly one of the worst films ever made over the weekend - Blow Dry. Apart from sounding like a porn film or a Gay drama, it featured Josh Hartnett pretending to be a Northern hairdresser which was cringable as he could only manage the accent for about 3 words before slipping back into An American twang. The best bit of the film was when it ended. After tho I did get to watch the excellent Gavin and Stacey which made me laugh so much the welsh behaviour is performed down to a tee - plus a lot of the program is shot in Barry island where I have many happy memories from being a child :-)

New TV viewing 05 Apr 2008

Well unfortunetly I haven't managed to watch much in the way of TV this week with my busy life and all :-).. The small bit I watched on wednesday which was 15 mins of Eastenders reminded me why the UK is going down the pan. It was Sonya (Patsey Palmer ugly and REALLY annoying ginger), who for some god only knows reason was trying to find a place for her 5 children (by 5 different men) to sleep after they had been kicked out of a cafe for fighting and the social told them they didn't want to know. Anyway her mothering abilities probably would be surpassed by a duck crossing the road with her brood, she would care more and make a better job of it. The entire family ended up sleeping in a bus stop as "camping" for the night, it truely did make me cringe I can imagine many young people of today doing the exact same thing wearing the same clothes (silver puffer jacket and pink trackie bottoms). Whats wrong with some family support or are disfunctional families the norm now OR perhaps they are being encouraged by shows such as this who knows, but the UK is rotting from the inside out.

New TV viewing 31 Mar 2008

Well tonight I managed to escape for a bit and go to maplins to buy a 3.5 mm stereo extension lead (god i'm so geeky).. When I got back I watched watch dog which was excellent and just proves how think people really are - at heathrow they have a car parking system that guides you round the car park to the next space via an over head arrow system, instead of A. remembering where they had parked or B. actually following the directions to the space so the system could track their location and save where they had parked, they didn't do either. Stupid users to be fair the people they featured who's cars had gone "missing" were middle aged men who I have noticed when using computers really don't ever follow instructions and do what they think so I guess I'm not suprised. Later I watched Eastenders where Pat and Peggy were attending a gay wedding (not Pats tho) and at the end Ricky turned up with bad news concerning Frank - how they knew where they were I don't know considering Pat going was a last minute thing with only an hours notice. I then got to watch crime watch, as usual there were the usual scum commiting crimes and a hunt for an iraqi who raped a woman where i live - Kidderminster which was disturbing. Finally I got to watch Mythbusters which was amazing they were testing the myth that a hot water boiler could become a rocket - they sure can watch here

New TV viewing 31 Mar 2008

Well my TV watching hasn't been great this past week to be honest.. I got to watch future weapons on Friday as usual then on Saturday I caught up with Rush Hour 3 which although very amusing was full of plot holes but I suspect that may have been me over analyising things as usual... And on sunday I got to watch the antiques roadshow michael aspel's last show which was sad but on the upside fiona bruce is taking over so there will be some eye candy of sorts. This was followed by Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which I think is by far the best of the triolgy so far its so cool the whole knights guarding the cup of christ etc - the only let down is when the evil Dr rival to Indiana drinks from the wrong cup and is turned to dust in front of their eyes its not good stop animation I think they must have run out of budget by then..

Over the weekend I got to watch Spiderman 3 which was pretty good, tho I'm sure I over analyse plots and scenes. Venom was very cool but it was a bit odd at the end when he amazingly got blown to atoms by one of the green goblins bombs which only a few minutes earlier had failed to dispatch the goblin himself. Gwen Stacy looked almost albino with her white hair which was also a bit weird.... It also lined up Doc Conner (AKA the lizzard) for the next film and I'm not really sure why spidey let the sandman go at the end of the film after all he is still a criminal! I've got hitman to watch this week which should be wicked from the skim through i had.. I'm out a few nights so i guess that will hit my TV reviewing bits.

Well I haven't watched much tv this week to be honest, but I watched Cops With Cameras on tuesday whihc was amusing as ever.. Really why do chavs never just submit when the police are trying to arrest them?? and today I watched something that made me want to vomit, no it wasn't a horrific documentry or a really gory horror flick - No it was High School Musical II. It was utter shit I mean the first was bad but this OMG a years worth of home and away is preferable to the hour and a half that it lasted. They didn't make any effort to hide their miming to the songs that were pointless and not even half as catchy as the first. Anyway its definitly best avoided by all unless its used as a new weapon in the fight against terrorism for the CIA cos it would make anyone talk.

Last week I didn't watch much TV as i was being a taxi for 2 days. And the same wil go for this week. Tho on saturday I did get to watch Independence Day which I liked when it first came out then decided I didn't like for a bit then have now developed a new appreciation for, especially the highly amusing gay who runs the TV station "DAVID DAVID, I'd better call mom". Tonight I shall watch the usual and excellent Lewis. Tho before that I must watch the dancing on ice final hopefully chris will win but you never know :-) not that i'm saying its a good program I just want a deserving person to win.

monday and tueday nights TV. As per usual I was subjected to home and away when i got home, luckily i missed a large ammount of the program while being perched on my throne of what I did see it made me laugh due to Cassie being both pregant and that she now might have caught AIDS :-). It couldn't have happened to a more annoying person. Later I watched delia smith with her new series of cheating food, it still looked a lot of work to me if your in a hurry nothing can beat a microwave meal quite frankly! at 9 I got to watch traffic cops where as usual the dregs of society were being carted of to jail and one even drowned saving the tax payers money ( why you'd prat about at some docks whn you can't even swim I don't know). I found the most amusing thing in the kleeneze magazine that came through the door the link is here.. You too and can look like Bib Fortuna

The weekends viewing... Saturday night was its usual night of boredom with Ant and Dec's saturday night take away!! I'm still not quite sure why linda lusardi was an elf in a game along with many other C list celebs maybe it was some sort of kinky sex game or simply that now shes left dancing on ice she doesn't have a regular source of income... Anyway it was crap luckily i had an allergic reaction which caused me to go to sleep soon after, mid way through guilty pleasures with the lovely fern cotton presenting... Sunday morning began with one of the best programs on TV - scrapheap challenge which saw them making tomato shooting machines in Cheltenham, and cars that could drive under the sea not quite james bond style just to a depth of 8ft.. Later I got to watch another great program American Chopper which although excellent was tainted by Vinne quitting the shop after having enough of paulie's laziness oh well i'm sure he'll do well and pop up somewhere else. The West Brom V Bristol game was excellent with west brom giving a summary thrashing 5-1. The highlight of the evening was Gareth Gates being voted off dancing on ice, at last the stuttering gay has finally gone - this may sound stupid but i want Chris Fountain to win he at least has some tallent where as the women simply have to look nice while being lifted in the air!

Friday in front of the TV. Scandal in home and away has hank left Cassie in the lurch??? Does Sally really know milko? the strange milkshake sounding man??? Holly Oaks was also full of intrigue tonight will zoe break up with mike??? and how long will Amy lie about leah having leukemia? or will she keep accepting sympathy and cash off the residents? Mythbusters was excellent as ever with a revisit to the speed camera myth with them proving you can beat a camera with speed be it 250mph but you can still beat it, followed by the myth that a ninja can deflect bullets with his hands this stayed a myth with his hand being blown off lucky it was made of ballistics gel :-) . And finally I got to watch Future Weapons on discovery, one of my fav programs this week he reviewed the mk110 naval gun with its programable 57mm ammunition which did some very cool things to a shipping crate, and a new rife based on the m4 but firing the 6.7mm round which has both better range and penetration, the Magpul Masada... Anyway as per usual this was a good show tho this is possibly because it has plenty of explosions in :-)

Well my night of viewing started with a very predictable turn of events in home and away with cassie getting pregnant and the reverand convincing the simple jeff to loosen his restraints! This was followed by hollyoaks and the gay exploits of john paul which although funny wasn't what i wanted to see while eatin my dinner. Finally i was forced to watch waterloo road which was as normal very boring with the only highlight being the school girls and the promise of an explosion next week :-)
